An arraignment for the 28-year-old Rapid City woman accused of having an illicit sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy was delayed Tuesday.

April Solles is charged with three counts of fourth-degree rape and two counts of sexual contact with a child under 16.

The Pennington County State’s Attorney’s Office has recused 7th Circuit Judge Mary Thorstenson from the case.

Thorstenson was scheduled to handle Solles’ arraignment Tuesday. No reason was given for Thorstenson being recused from the case.

A new judge has not yet been assigned.

Solles remains in the Pennington County Jail under a $100,000 bond.
