NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Authorities say a Florida inmate who escaped from a facility more than two weeks ago has been captured.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office received word that Sean McGinnis may be in a New Port Richey subdivision with a stolen black Mustang. Deputies found the car Saturday morning and McGinnis about two hours later.
The 21-year-old had been serving time at Bridges of Orlando, a work release center. He was on a work detail when he escaped June 9.
He is expected to be charged with escape.
