LOS ANGELES (AP) — President Barack Obama says some of his own supporters have a “revisionist history” about how great his first run for the White House was.

Labour up, but challenge ahead for Goff

LATEST: Labour leader Phil Goff says a five-point closing of the gap with National is good news but Labour still has hard work ahead of it.

Although the poll shows the gap between the two parties narrowing by more than 5 per cent, National retains a near insurmountable lead of 26.2 per cent.

Goff said today Labour couldn’t afford to be mesmerised by the polls.

“You simply have to get out there and show you are working hard to win people’s support and to show you have a vision and a plan for the future.”
